MR Elections 2024

Below we have gathered the frequently asked questions that voters in the July 2024 MR presidential election might have. Check your voting invitation for more details.

What are the dates of the vote?

The online elections for the MR presidency take place from 8 July at 2:00 PM to 15 July at 8:00 AM.

How do I vote?

To vote online, you will need:

  • your voter number
  • your personal and confidential invitation code

The personal and confidential invitation code is a code of 3 times 5 digits, for example: 12345-12345-12345.

Your personal and confidential invitation code was provided to you in your voting invitation.

Once you have this information, you can go and vote on the dedicated online voting platform for the MR presidential election, whose address appears on your invitation.

What is the purpose of the vote?

The purpose of the ballot is to put the candidacy of Georges-Louis BOUCHEZ for the presidency of the Mouvement Réformateur (MR) to the members.

The available options are YES or NO. If you select neither of the two options, you can still submit your vote, and your ballot will be considered a blank ballot.

How do I know whether I have already voted?

Enter your personal and confidential invitation code again in the ONLZ application, along with your voter number. You will then be able to check whether your vote has already been submitted and recorded.

How many times can I vote?

If you are invited to take part in the ballot, you can only vote once. Once you have submitted your vote, it is no longer possible to vote again, nor even to change your vote.

How many candidates can I select?

For the MR presidency, only one candidate stood.

Who is responsible for the voting process?

For the July 2024 MR presidential election, the person responsible for organising the ballot is:
Etude DEBRAY, Bailiffs in Brussels.

How do I vote after the vote has closed?

At the scheduled time, the chair of the polling station closes the electronic ballot box. After this step, voters can no longer vote. If you started voting before the close and did not submit your ballot in time before the chair closed the ballot box, your ballot was not recorded, and you can no longer vote. Conversely, if you were able to read a confirmation message on your screen after voting, this means that your vote was recorded.

How much time do I have to vote?

As much time as you wish, before the vote closes. However, for security reasons, if you take no action for 3 minutes while selecting candidates, your session will be reset and you will have to provide your code again and start the voting process over. Clicking on a candidate or changing a selection counts as an action.

Where can I find downloadable documentation for voters?

What is the link to vote in the July 2024 MR elections?

The address to use is https://mr.onlz.com. Make sure you use the https protocol, and not http.

What should I do if I have a problem with the ONLZ electronic voting solution during the MR presidential election?

Get in touch with the chair of the polling station and their team. They will assist and help you. ONLZ cannot under any circumstances interact with voters without identity validation by the organiser.

Can we know the results during the ballot?

No, it is completely impossible to know the contents of the ballots before the ballot box is definitively closed and the ballots are then decrypted.
